Why Choose BreezeCare
BreezeCare and Dr Speiser's Australian Breath Clinic are the brainchild of Dr Geoffrey Speiser, a dentist of more than 25 years experience. BreezeCare and Australian Breath Clinic now focus on the development and treatment of bad breath, sour taste and all related conditions such as post nasal drip, by using Probiotics (good bacteria), as well as developing Biofilm Cleansers.
The probiotics developed by BreezeCare are researched in association with Otago University in New Zealand and BLIS Technologies (a public company in New Zealand). These probiotics are called K12 and are marketed through our companies as KForce Breath Guard Probiotics. KForce Balance is developed after many years of patient treatment at our Sydney clinic. It uses the theory that if you remove the biofilm as well as the bacteria contained within, then there is no need for strong antibacterial mouthwash, that cause harm and sour tastes in the mouth.
The products developed by BreezeCare and Australian Breath Clinic also use many healthy natural products that have a history of promoting health. Apart from our K12 KForce Probiotics, BreezeCare also uses Propolis (a bee extract), Xylitol (a natural antibacterial sweetener), Aloe Vera (a natural soothant) and Zinc Gluconate (an odour absorber). This is because the BreezeCare mission statement is to promote mouth health and natural balance, and by doing this thusly promote fresh breath. We do not believe that using strong antiseptics is conducive to mouth health, and therefore use these sparingly and only as necessary.
BreezeCare and Australian Breath Clinic formulations have proven to be so popular that they are now commonly shown on National Television and written about in Magazines and National Newspapers. Our extensive media coverage can be viewed on our Media Page
Who is Dr Geoffrey Speiser
Dr Geoffrey Speiser is a Sydney University graduate with over 25 years experience in the treatment of all dental conditions. He has an interest in using probiotics such as KForce K12 to help treat bad breath and halitosis.
Dr Speiser graduated in 1980 from Sydney University. He worked as a general dentist in Canberra (Australia's capital) for 2 years before opening two dental practices in Sydney's eastern and southern suburbs. These two practices were merged in 2003 in a new "state of the art" facility in Edgecliff, Sydney (just 5 minutes from the city centre). The practice is centrally located on the train line, and is accessible to all of the Sydney metropolitan area.
Dr Speiser noted in his years of practice that many people suffer from the embarrassing condition of bad breath and halitosis, and that there were no treatments available for these long term chronic sufferers. In 1997 Dr Speiser began to associate with researchers to develop a breath system to help this embarrassing condition.
Apart from treating dental patients, Dr Speiser often writes articles for dental magazines to show dentists how to tackle the embarrassing problem of halitosis within their dental practice. Dr Speiser has also been published in the Journal of Applied Microbiology. He also personally answers questions from the general public posted on the BreezeCare web site. BreezeCare web site achieve over 3000 hits per day, from people searching problems such as bad breath, halitosis, post nasal drip, sour taste and taste disorders, ulcers and sores of the mouth and tongue. You can forward your questions directly to him at dentist@breezecare.com
All about Dr Speiser's Australian Breath Clinic
Dr Speiser's service was in such demand that in 2005 he started The Australian Breath Clinic in Edgecliff Sydney. At the clinic he undertakes breath consultations using patented sophisticated equipment not available in other dental offices. We currently have clinics in Malaysia and Australia, and will be opening soon in other parts of the world.
The Australian Breath Clinic is able to measure the amount of bacterial waste products (the smells of bad breath) in parts per billion (ppb) with a sophisticated gas Chromagraph. The gas Chromagraph is not used by any other private dental clinic in Australia. Testing by this machine is extremely accurate, quick and also FREE. The clinic is also able to test for lactose intolerance and helico pylori bacteria infections.
Bad Breath patients undergo personalised lifestyle examination, saliva quality testing, breath testing and dental examination (if necessary) to determine the best possible treatment. Such consultations are only necessary for patients that are severely chronic, or who might have associated medical conditions that may hamper treatment. Dr Speiser has been able to develop complete systems that are effective for the majority of people without the need or added expense of a personal visit. But all patients appreciate the service of having a breath analysis when or if they feel they have a problem.
